Humboldt-Fellow Welcomed at the Chair of Multimedia Communications and Signal Processing (Prof. Kaup)
Dr. Huynh Van Luong, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA, has been awarded a two-year fellowship for postdoctoral researchers by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Dr. Luong will stay at the Chair of Multimedia Communications and Signal Processing from March 2015 to February 2017, where he will pursue research on „video coding and processing for multiple distributed wearable devices“ together with his host Prof. Kaup. The Humboldt fellowship includes a cooperation with Technical University of Denmark in Copenhagen. Alexander-von-Humboldt Fellowships are regarded as outstanding recognition of the host university since Humboldt fellows can freely choose their host.
