Welcome to the EMSig Homepage

The association “Verein Freunde und Förderer der Erlanger Multimediakommunikation und Signalverarbeitung e.V.”, (Association of Friends and Sponsors of Erlangen’s Multimedia Communications and Signal Processing), short EMSig, has the goal to promote science and research in the field of multimedia communications and signal processing, with a special focus on conducting scientific events and research projects at the Chair of Multimedia Communications and Signal Processing (LMS) of the Friedrich-Alexander University (FAU) Erlangen-Nuremberg.

The assocciation was founded on May 27, 2014 by 21 members of the LMS. It was registered with register number VR 200859 at the district court of Fuerth and recognized as a charitable association by the tax authority of Erlangen.
